Dielectric Compound is a grease-like material containing an inert amorphous silica filler in combination with selected dimethyl and phenylmethyl silicone fluids. It is designed to with superior release and compatibility characteristics on rubber and plastic substrates, maintaining the excellent dielectric properties inherent with silicone compounds. This nonconductive compound is used primarily for applications such as insulators and bushings; as a lubricant for high-current switches in extreme temperature environments.
